Enabling Whole Life Carbon in Design
This project aims to support organisations to explore how they can deliver low whole life carbon and cost solutions. It will provide insight into the possible when it comes to providing an accurate and total projection of the whole carbon cost of creating and maintaining an asset.
It will deliver the tools and processes required to support the cultural and behavioural changes necessary to adopt a whole life carbon approach by empowering the water sector to move from purely capital and operational carbon accounting to true whole-life carbon cost management.

Enabling Water Smart Communities
Enabling Water Smart Communities is exploring the relationship between integrated water management and housing development to unlock new opportunities for cross-sector delivery and stewardship.
Unlocking Bioresource Market Growth
This project sought to enable collaborative development of the bioresources market using a mature prescriptive analytics platform. This project aims to provide WaSCs with the support necessary to overcome existing barriers and unlock the benefits of these markets.
Safe Smart Systems
This project sets out to transform our operational systems to create the next generation of water systems that achieve autonomous control.
It will aim to build systems that are connected, independent and deliver a clean and sustainable supply of water for future generations.
Triple Carbon Reduction
This project aims to evidence a step change reduction in green house gas emissions and electricity used in the water treatment process. This will simultaneously create a new renewable energy source through green hydrogen production.
Using novel technologies, it will create a ‘triple carbon’ synergy and demonstrate an alternative waste water treatment process that could significantly reduce the amount of emissions created compared to the current process.
